As Salaam Alaikum:

When Imam Warith Deen Mohammed assumed leadership of the Nation of Islam in 1975, there was division of brothers in who to follow, Farrakhan or W.D. Mohammed. If there was unity back then, we would be further in our deen to Allah. Imam Mohammed knew what he was doing in bring us back to worshipping Al-Islam the was we was as slaves brought here from Africa. You see Muslim slaves had to stop worshiping Allah in the proper way in order to survive here in America doing that time. But they had a prayer to Allah: O Allah Let my offspring come back Muslim to worship you in the proper way. They converted to Christianity to survive for a better day to come at hand. That day came in 1975 Saviors Day when W.D. Mohammed assume leadership of the Nation. Now our ancestors can rest in peace. Imam Mohammed said to us: The flame of Al-Islam is so strong you can stagnate it but you cant put it out. What a powerful statement with what's going on in the world today. Farrakhan should have worked with the Imam from day one. We as a movement would have advanced a lot further instead of the back fighting that we experienced. Our community students of Warith Deen Mohammed will continue to teach the legacy of our Imam for generations to come for our future and for our Muslim slave ancestors.

ASA. I believe in the teaching of the Hon. Elijah Muhammad. It says in the Holy Quran (in so many words) that Allah will settle differences amongst those who believe. Let us remember this and excercise humility when dealing with each other. ASA

Maybe if the Imams of our beloved Imam would spend more time propagating the faith instead of religious gang banging. We would better of.

Our community made many mistakes which led us to be an aging ummah, without any noticable visible presence of other ethnicity except Afro Americans.

However, I have seen young hispanic, africans, arab, and cauacasdian seeking audiences with Minister Farrakhan. He was in Russia in Siberia and Muslims whiter than milk embraced him and actually defended him against KGB.

Instead of taking the stance that they are coming up maybe we should take the stance we can learn from each other because we do not have nowhere near the international presence among muslims that Farrakhan and his community have even though we are superior in numbers and experience.

"You can tell the righteous for the walk the Earth in humility"

As-Salaamu Alaikum,
I believe the Muslim Journal did right in interviewing Min. Farrakhan. Eversince their leader, Imam W.Deen Mohammed returned to Allah (SWT), the Imams in that association have turned into negro ministers, in terms of behaving ignorantly and devisive. In 2000 when I was active in that association, the 2 men embraced each other and promised to work together while respecting each other's differences. Even Farrakhan has made some changes in the Nation of Islam himself! He has instituted Salaatul Jumu'ah, fasting during the Holy month of Ramadan with the entire Ummah, study more on the life of Nabi Muhammad ibn Abdullah Al-Mustafa Ahmed (SAW)and learning Qur'anic Arabiyyah. Furthermore, during this past anniversary of the Million Man March, Min. Farrakhan announced "the New Beginning" by expanding the Nation of Islam membership to the entire human family, just as Imam Mohammed (then Supreme Minister Wallace D. Muhammad) did in 1975. Instead of being so critical of Min. Farrakhan, we should applaude him for the reforms that he's been making in the Nation of Islam towards slowly, but surely moving toward the true concepts of Aqeedah and Tauheed.

We the Muslims followers of The Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad, under the Divine Guidance of the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan, stand with the rest of the Student s of Allah in honoring and Up holding the Pillars of Islam. We however feel that We do not have to take a test or show some allegiance to all these Muslim or Islamic Thought Police. Who by the way prostrate every Friday or Jummah, with purveyors of Pork and Alcohol, in the Black Community and through out this wickedly great nation of Ours, I guess this is okay since they are "Real Muslims"= Arabs and most Immigrant Muslims, the wanna be Arab negro does not say a mumbling word to their religious massa's. I am not trying to be mean, but We do not force Our beliefs onto anyone, We simply believe what We believe, if We are in error Allah the Glorious the most High will be Our Judge not some student of a student.
