Samson's Riddle and The Conspiracy

Samsons Riddle and The Conspiracy Imam Mohammed gave this lecture on January 29th, 1979, according to my records.  Muslims in Imam Mohammed’s association will recognize that this lecture was given during that remarkable period in our community’s history when Imam Mohammed was working very hard to move us away from the teachings of his father’s NOI, and into classical Al-Islam.

Imam Mohammed’s students will readily recognize that this is a dated lecture, and should understand the language Imam Mohammed used during that period.

Samson and The Conspiracy

The link to the down loadable transcript that can be found in the on line  Yahoo Group:

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/We-are-with-Imam-W-Deen-Mohammed/ has bee disabled.

If  you are a member there you probably already have the download link in your email inbox from them.  If you are not a member there, please join and go to message #9375

“Thanks to Imam WD Shakir, we now have this complete lecture from begining to end.  Therefore, please expect that a new version of the transicript will be coming.  G-d willing.  Once the new transcript has been completed, you’ll be able to get the new version on from this site.  Stay tuned

*******END OF UPDATE*******

I am bringing this project not as a finished product.  In fact right off the bat when playing the audio portion of this historic lecture, it is quite obvious that what we have managed to salvage of it at this point, does not include the very beginning of the lecture itself.

Regardless of that, the portion of the lecture that we do have is a ‘must need to have’ for all of Imam Mohammed’s studious students.  This is my attempt to help meet that need.

There are portions of the audio itself that I can’t quite make out, and I am in need of  a few different ears to help figure out or even understand exactly if possible, the Imam’s precious words.

There are caveats though.  You have to be a studious student of Imam Mohammed.  The sensitivity of the language in this lecture requires that caveat.

So, unless I know you personally, or you can show that you are Imam Mohammed’s student, then I will have to take a pass on you, if you offer to help.

Yeah, I know what you are thinking.  Surely there are friends that I can go to without having to make this public request.  And there are.  But part of the reasoning for doing it this way is to see just how many people visit this blog.  This blog must stand or fall on its own merits.

Usually, as I’ve done in the past, I would post this request in the Yahoo group that I am member of.

So, since I am a member of Khalid’s ‘We-are-with-Imam-W-Deen-Mohammed’ Yahoo Group, if you email me from the email address that you use whenever you post a comment to his group, using your member name for that group, I will visit the group and read any comments you’ve made, to determine  if I can take you up on your offer to help.

If you are indeed picked to help, I will send to you the audio lecture and its transcript so that you can proof the transcript for accuracy.

If you have any other methods besides the ones stated above that you’d like to use to verify that you are a student of Imam Mohammed, then click here, which will take you to this site’s contact form to send me an email.  Make sure you select ‘Samson & the Conspiracy’ from the drop down menu that says ‘please make a selection’ and your email will be routed to the correct account automatically.

Otherwise email me at:Samsons Riddle and The Conspiracy

As Salaam Alaikum

      Wa Alaikum As Salaam Khalid.

I need to run this little exercise first, to see if I can get visitors # 1, and #2, get visitors who are the Imam's students to help with editing the transcript. Honestly, I'm quite happy you responded first because I was just about to email you with something else I wanted to share.

I'll see what happens after a coupla-more days.
